We will not sell, share, or trade our users’ or donors’ names or Personal Information with any other entity (aside from vendors necessary to provide our services, such as payment processors), nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by NAMI Utah, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform” includes the NAMI Utah website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications. If you seek our help, such as through our classes, support groups, referrals, by calling our helpline, or by using our online chat or text feature, we may collect identification and contact information, including full name, phone number, email, postal zip code, full address, and date of birth for your ill relative (when applicable); demographic information including gender identity, date of birth, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and primary language; and personal information including your relationship to mental illness and other pertinent information. For class registrants, we collect additional personal information including diagnosis of self or ill relative (when applicable), information related to the onset of mental illness, treatment and hospitalization history, and other Personal Information you choose to provide as part of receiving our services, including Personal Information that may lead to an inference of your health status or diagnosis.
