Utah County Affiliate
Our Mission & Story
Utah County is a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Utah. We are fulfilling NAMI Utah's mission to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by mental health conditions, as well as their families, through advocacy, education, and support in Utah County.
Our initiative to restart this local affiliate comes from a deeply personal place. Our steering committee co-chairs, Ron and Jane Randquist, chose to lead this effort after receiving life-saving support while navigating a mental health crisis with their own loved one. Having experienced the profound impact of community care, they are dedicated to giving back. We want to ensure that anyone experiencing a mental health condition, or supporting a loved one through one, never has to feel alone.
Our affiliate steering committee is currently composed of nine active founding members working behind the scenes to bring NAMI’s signature support groups, educational classes, and advocacy programs to Utah County.

Join Us: Volunteer Opportunities
We are actively building our foundation and seeking volunteers to help us grow. We need community members to fill vital roles, including:
Committee Members – Join our steering committee to help plan local events and outreach.
Event Volunteers – Assist with community health fairs, presentations, and awareness campaigns.
