A Safe and Confidential Setting

In our NAMI Connection Support Group when participants share their experiences in a safe and confidential setting, they have the opportunity to receive support, learn from the experience of others, and develop relationships. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community.

  • Find strength in sharing experiences
  • Reject stigma and not tolerate discrimination
  • Not judge anyone’s pain
  • Forgive ourselves and reject guilt
  • Embrace humor as healthy
