Hundreds more Utahns get mental health support in 2025 compared to previous year

Utah is not alone in its mental health crisis. The needs seem to be everywhere, and the system for supporting people with mental

health conditions is fractured, and treatment often depends on who has insurance or another ability to pay.

Despite these challenges, NAMI Utah is making a difference for more than 5,000 Utahns. And we do it at no cost to the participants.

In our 2025 annual impact report, NAMI Utah shows that 5,031 Utahns received support from the non profit through education,

support, and advocacy, compared to 4,271 in the previous year.

So what does that sound like?

“Now I have a renewed sense of hope and control in my mental health journey,” said Daniel, who participated in one of NAMI Utah’s support groups.

“The group walked with me in every stage,” said Rose, who participated in our family support group. “It was the first time I felt like I was not alone.”
