NAMI Utah Position Description


Position Title:  Programs Coordinator

Reports to: Programs Director

Status: 32 hours per week, some evenings and week-ends

Salary:  $12-$15 per hour

Benefits:  Health benefits, paid holidays, personal time off


Position Summary:  

The purpose of this position is to coordinate all aspects of the NAMI Utah Programs department, helping to assure it operates smoothly.  This includes data collection and reporting, assisting and supporting our volunteer run affiliates, coordinating details of trainings. 



Reporting & Data

Collect and report data from teachers and support group facilitators on a regular basis, providing monthly and semi-annual reports on NAMI programs throughout the state.

Affiliate Assistance & Support

Provide support and assistance to affiliates around the state, assuring they have materials and resources needed to offer classes and support groups in their communities. 


Coordinate all aspects of state trainings of new teachers and support group facilitators, including logistics such as registration, supplies, food, training materials, etc.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with reporting and presenting data
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
